Welcome to the Easthampton Family Center!
Hi! I'm Andy Goulet, the new coordinator of the Easthampton Family Center. I'm a parent and musician, and I've been coming to the Family Center for over 5 years. The resources and community I found through the Family Center were invaluable to my family and I as we navigated life with a young child. I'm so happy to be able to welcome families both familiar and new to the Family Center, and to offer them the same support which meant so much to me as a new parent.
If you have any questions about the Center or your child's development and well-being, or you'd like to attend a playgroup, please don't hesitate to reach out via email at email@example.com. I also encourage you to learn more about the Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) and the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) grants which make it possible for us to offer children and families the resources they need by visiting https://www.collaborative.org/programs/early-childhood.
I look forward to meeting you and your family!
What is CES and CFCE?
The Collaborative for Education Services (CES) is a non-profit educational service agency, committed to reaching and educating learners of all ages, and experienced in working with educators to help students learn and succeed. Many of our parent support programs are sponsored by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) grant funded by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). CFCE programs are locally-based programs in your community that provide child development services and resources to families with young children.
Play group times
For the summer months, from June until the end of August, we will be meeting at the little playground at Nonotuck Park (1 Daley Field Rd. in Easthampton) from 10:00 AM to noon on Tuesdays.
We follow the public school calendar and will be closed for holidays and inclement weather.
Learn about your child with ASQ!
The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) will help you understand and support your child's development. Use this online screening tool to discover some of the wonderful things your child has learned and what the next steps are! The ASQ-3 focuses on motor development, while the ASQ:SE-2 focuses on social-emotional development. After filling out your questionnaire, I will contact you with personalized activities to support your child at home.
